Dad With Baby On The Way Killed In South Central PA Crash, Fund Says

A community is rallying after a 30-year-old motorcyclist was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Tuesday morning, Oct. 29, according to the Springettsbury Township Police.

Ziare Jackson, a York native, was riding a 2024 Suzuki motorcycle when it struck the rear of a 2007 Ford Focus driven by a 46-year-old man also from York, police detailed in a release.

This happened in the 3400 block of East Market Street around 5:46 a.m., according to the police.

The road was closed in the area for several hours.

Springettsbury Township Police are investigating.
